Flax Rolls® are possibly the world's first convenient "Super Food" bringing you all the health benefits of fabulous flax in a tasty and nutritious meal. They are a fast and convenient way to have ground flax, hot or cold, anytime, anywhere.

Flax Rolls® are gluten-free ground flaxseed wraps baked with a variety of delicious, nutritious, and gluten-free ingredients. With up to 10g of fibre (34% RDA), 4g of omega 3, and 8-11g of protein, Flax Rolls® are an excellent source of FIBRE, OMEGA 3 and PROTEIN.

Each wrap is made with 2-3 tablespoons (about 30 gm) of Canadian ground flaxseed and include ingredientssuch as:

  • Wild Salmon - another great source of Omega-3, essential fatty acids and protein
  • Chickpeas, Lentils, and other Beans - excellent sources of protein, fibre, lignans, vitamins & minerals
  • Vegetables – yams, ginger, turnips, rutabagas, spinach, tomatoes, green onions, white onions, cabbage, carrots, peppers, corn, peas, garlic and more
  • Organic Buckwheat, Sorghum flour, and Millet flour
  • Whole Brown rice
  • Herbs and spices such as turmeric, cumin, curry, cilantro, chili pepper and more.

Serving Suggestions: Hot or cold

  • Once baked, and cooled, reheat to serve in a hot oven of 200ºF (2-3 minutes); microwave (30-35 seconds)
  • Add a dip, sauce or salsa. Serve with a smoothie, juice, cut vegetables, salad, or soup.
  • Once baked, the baked FlaxRolls can be frozen. Reheat, directly from frozen, 10 minutes in a preheated oven @ 250ºF, OR thaw first, then reheat for 2-3 minutes, as above.
  • CATERING: For hors d’oeuvres – allow baked FlaxRolls to cool for 15 minutes and then cut. OR, BEFORE baking, allow frozen unbaked FlaxRolls to ‘temper’ for 10 minutes and then cut. REDUCE baking time by 5 minutes.

Shelf Life:

  • Fresh baked FlaxRolls: 5-6 days in cooler
  • Frozen – 10 months
